Why am I being charged taxes?
Unfortunately, that's out of my control. You see thanks to a little court case called South Dakota vs Wayfair Inc., the United States Supreme Court passed a sales tax law that forces all marketplaces to pay taxes to the state. This means that marketplaces like BigCartel, Amazon, eBay, & Etsy (who all host indep. sellers) will automatically collect sales tax on behalf of the sellers and pay the gov directly. This by extension means: I unfortunately have no control over it. They did this because many online sellers & buyers were not paying sales taxes through online platforms and Uncle Sam being, well...Uncle Sam, he wanted his cut too. This means that BigCartel and subsidiaries will charge a sales tax to all customers regardless of whether the seller wishes to charge them or not. Are all items new?
All items are made by me, the creator, and therefore new. That being said, all items sold will be slightly different or customized based on customer needs and artistic licenses (liberties) that are given by buyer.
Is the clear coat that protects the tumblers FDA safe?
Yes! Most definitely! There are so many epoxy bases that are unsafe for food items out there and many crafters use FDA safe for art or non-food items but are not food-safety. I have made my due diligence by purchasing the only epoxy that has been approved by the FDA to coat cups, plates, cookware, etc. Therefore, yes! These cups are safe to drink from. But, to take extra measured precautions, I leave a small brim at the top of the cups so you can drink without feeling/touching the epoxy with your lips.
Are these cups washable? If so, how do I wash them?
All cups with a clear coat to protect the decals are washable safe. I ensure to coat every cup with 2-3 (sometimes more) coats of Epoxy to ensure that the decals and designs will be protected. This ensure longevity of your cups. That being said, please please please DO NOT put these cups in the dishwasher. They are not dishwasher safe. You will need to hand wash them by hand. This will protect your cup and your home! As heat releases chemicals in plastics and resins.

How long will it take before I get my cup?
Because these are custom made by me and solely me, the cure time for coated tumblers takes a minimum of 2-4 days depending on the intricacy/complexity of the cup. Add in some cutting and pasting of decals, and sprinkle in some designing; Cups take a minimum of 2-3 weeks of procure (processing) time. If you are ordering many cups or are at the end of the batch order list, then add in another week. You are looking at 2-4 weeks for cups. I average about 2-3 weeks processing time, most of the time. So please take this in mind before placing your order.
I do have expedited shipping available which minimizes the time frame from 2-3 weeks (average) to 1-2 weeks for $25.00. It includes shipping fees so no need to pay additionally. But before going this route, please contact me first!

How much is shipping?
Shipping is a flat rate of $7.99 for the first item, $10.99 for two cups or more. Please do not select $7.99 if ordering more than one cup. Doing so will result in order cancellation and automatic refund without warning. Please be mindful of this.
Prices are subject to change based on USPS market rates.
Is there a local pickup option available?
Pick up option is available for customers in the Los Angeles county area. Option is available at checkout.
Can we return the items?
Unfortunately because these items are custom, we cannot accept any returns. However, we are more than welcome to cancel any orders within 24 hours of purchase. Contact us for more details.
